Co-President: Param Bhatter
Param Bhatter is a fourth year Bioengineering: Biotechnology major, with a keen interest in clinical/healthcare policy. This past summer, he worked as a summer associate at Triage Healthcare Consulting. As Co-President, he hopes to assist undergraduates with their career development by assisting ISPE in throwing more networking events/workshops, as well as expanding the Mentorship Program. In his spare time, Param enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, and pretty much any other outdoor activity you can think of. Co-President: Tiffany Choy
Tiffany is a 4th year Bioengineering: Biotechnology student. She is currently an intern at Solstice Biologics, assisting with the development of nucleic acid therapeutics. She was a part of the Mentorship Program for two years, and was the Mentorship Committee Chair for a year. As co-president, Tiffany hopes to help undergraduates kickstart and bolster their career development by continuing to make UCSD ISPE a valuable resource for undergraduates. VP External: Justin Chu
Justin Chu is a fourth year Bioengineering student at UCSD who plans to pursue a career in medical devices. This past summer, Justin worked at Dexcom as an R and D engineering intern. In his past, Justin was a Research Associate at the Shiley Eye Center at UCSD and at the UCI School of Medicine. In the future, Justin hopes to attend graduate school in the field of Mechanical Engineering. As VP External, he hopes to put on networking events and info sessions that will help the ISPE body achieve its professional goals. In his free time, Justin enjoys playing basketball, going to the beach, exploring new food places, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. VP Internal: Shreya Malik
Shreya is a third
year Bioengineering: bioinformatics major minoring in business. She has
experience in performing algorithmic quantitative analysis in the molecular
engineering lab and has spent the last three summers interning for startups of
various stages as a leap into industry. She hopes to further ISPE's goals by
providing future members with potential industry connections through her
contributions as VP Internal. She's always willing to answer questions, so feel

VP Finance: Emily Goble
Emily is a third year Bioengineering: Bioengineering major with a minor in Management Science. She currently works at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Global Operations IT intern within the Life Sciences Group. As VP Finance, she hopes to assist undergraduates with their career development and help organize several large networking events/workshops. Emily enjoys being involved in UCSD's student government and in her spare time, loves going surfing, skateboarding, and hiking. Mentorship Program Chair: Jason Shang
Jason Shang is a 3rd year Nanoengineering student who is trying to navigate through the biotech industry. He took part in the mentorship program last year and hopes to make the experience a great one this year for those who take part. Previously he interned at the Higuchi Lab at National Central University conducting stem cell research and at Hwa Kou Pharmacy Co., Ltd doing pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance/control. Public Relations C0-Chair and Webmaster: Erin Slattery
Erin is a transfer student in her 5th year studying Bioengineering: Biotechnology and has an A.A. degree in Mathematics & Sciences. She has spent the past four summers interning for research labs and companies around the country such as Genentech, Inc. and The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. She is currently a research assistant at the Cartilage and Tissue Engineering Lab here at UCSD. Erin plans to continue exploring the biotech field and to ultimately pursue an MS in Bioengineering and a career in industry. As Public Relations Co-Chair and Webmaster, Erin hopes to broaden awareness of ISPE’s goals and presence in the biotech industry. Public Relations C0-Chair: Komal Dani
Komal is a second year Bioengineering: Biotechnology major in Revelle College. She was a member of ISPE's LRP program last year, and hopes to use the knowledge she gained last year to ensure that ISPE benefits students of all experience levels. In the future, Komal plans to pursue a PhD in the biotech/pharmaceutical industries, and hopes to work on developing cheaper alternatives for curing diseases in developing nations. Membership Outreach
Membership Development Co-Chair: Steven Tran
Steven is a 3rd year Bioengineering major, and his research interests include cancer drug delivery methods and immunology, both of which he wants to pursue in graduate school. As the membership development chair, he aims to make information about industry and research more transparent and accessible to new students. He will also be assisting students with their math and science classes as needed. In his spare time, he enjoys distance running, practicing piano, and cooking. For his last two years at UCSD, Steven will work on noticing people during passing periods and actually saying "hi" instead of staring forward into space.

Graduate Student Liaison
Sagar Jain
Sagar is a second year Masters student in Bioengineering, Medical Devices. He is currently in J. Craig Venters Informatics team at JCVI, working on metadata analysis for stem cell genomics. Previously he graduated from UC Davis in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, and a minor in Communication. During his gap year before graduate school he joined a startup team of 5 in the data analytics group as part of the Rock Health incubator. He progressed to work in informatics at Genentech and served as Campus Ambassador at UCSD. He aims to leverage his experience in Bioinformatics and Medical Devices for a career in Digital Medicine. As Graduate Student Liaison at ISPE, Sagar envisions to transparently collaborate between academia, industry, and graduate students to expand opportunities and resources between students of all backgrounds (experience and field) to help plot the future of healthcare. robotics and has competed in and won multiple robotics tournaments at the
